This is one of my favorite ways to house break a puppy. Especially if you
are gone for long periods of time. Puppies will house break much easier if
you start them out in a small area. Remember a whole room is a very large
area for a puppy. You can make an x-pen (exercise pen) in different sizes
and shapes. They are also good for camping and trips. Start out making your
pen small and as your puppy does good make his area larger. They are great
if you are away for the day because the puppy has room for his bed, food,
water and a wee wee pad and still can run around.
